What is the RSVP deadline, and how do I respond?

What’s the dress code for the weekend?

Friday • Welcome PartyWe’ll be celebrating poolside, so come ready for a fun evening—but leave your bathing suit in your room! Ladies, think light, breezy, and a little dressed up. Gentleman, a button-down or collared shirt with slacks or chinos is perfect. Saturday • Wedding Ceremony & ReceptionLadies, think summer cocktail chic. We will be on the grass for the ceremony and cocktail hour so wedges, block heels, or flats are recommended. Gentlemen, jackets are encouraged, but ties are not required. Sunday • Farewell BrunchVery casual. Slippers welcome.

What should I know about the venue and weather?

The Welcome Party, Ceremony, and Cocktail Hour will take place outdoors, so we recommend dressing accordingly. The Ceremony will be held on the lawn, so ladies plan your footwear accordingly.

Will vegetarian or special dietary meals be available at the wedding?

Yes, vegetarian or special dietary meals will be available. Please make a note when you RSVP.

Can I bring a plus one to the wedding?

Are children allowed at the wedding?

If your children were included on your envelope then yes, please bring them! If not, we hope you can enjoy a kid free weekend away.

Will transportation be provided to the wedding venue?

Accepted Answer

Transportation is not needed once you arrive to the Salamander. All wedding events will take place on-site.Please note, the Salamander offers complimentary local transportation within five miles of the property, subject to availability. Middleburg's Washington Street is less than a mile.

Will parking be available at the wedding venue?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Complimentary self-parking is available for overnight resort guests. Valet parking is also available for an additional fee.

Can I request a late night song for the DJ?

Can I play golf?

There is a putting green on site but if you’re craving more, there are a few courses just minutes from the resort. The Salamander has partnerships with The Club at Creighton Farms, Bull Run Golf Club, Evergreen Country Club, and Raspberry Falls Golf & Hunt Club.To request a tee time, please contact the concierge team at concierge@salamanderresort.com.

What activities are available on-site?

There’s plenty to keep you busy between wedding events. The resort has pickleball, tennis, and basketball courts as well as, a fitness center and stunning outdoor pool. There's also a full equestrian center, falconry, archery, zip lining, and bike rentals if you want to explore the grounds.
